Eastside Catholic journeyed to Seattle Academy on Wednesday for an important Metro Sound contest. Senior captain Santi Miguel-Sassano delivered the crucial moment for EC during the tense competition by scoring a penalty kick in the second half that resulted in a 1–0 win.
Both goalkeepers demonstrated elite-level performances throughout the first half by making multiple amazing saves to keep their teams in the fight. EC received a penalty during the second half due to their persistent offensive pressure in the attacking third.

Eastside Catholic begins their postseason with a matchup advantage by playing against the No.5 team Metro Mountain team since they finished top of the Metro Sound division.
