The Seattle Prep fastpitch girls made it to the 2nd round of the district 2 3A Fastpitch tournament. This was the panthers first district win since 2013. Seattle Prep Lost to West Seattle 12-5 on May 10, which sent them to the loser’s bracket with another chance of making state. This time, they took their chance with a win over Holy Names Academy 4-1 on May 10.

The Lynx lost in the second round in the winner’s bracket, which sent them to the losers’ bracket who then beat Holy Names 5-3. After that, the Lynx wiped out West Seattle with a 15-5 win to send them into the District 2 3A tournament.

After this amazing win for the Panthers, they will go on to play in second round of the District 2 tournament against the 2nd seeded team for all 3A teams, the Juanita Ravens. The game will be taking place on May 14th, at Juanita. The Ravens are coming off of a 20-1 statement win against the No. 1 team, the Lake Washington Kangaroos.
