A Close Game Between Two Teams in the Running for Playoffs…

Eastside Catholic takes home the victory over Seattle Prep in a well-matched game

Last Monday, Eastside Catholic faced off against Seattle Prep on the Crusaders turf and EC dominated. It was an extremely intense game that kept fans and players alike on their toes. In the end, Eastside Catholic won by a mere three points with a final score of 10-7.

Elle Enselmen was the MVP for the Crusaders scoring three goals, followed Regan Walters, Molly Hamilton, and Faith Jacobs who all put two points on the board.

The Eastside Catholic girls were extremely tenacious the whole game, especially sophomore Olivia Shogren. Shogren had 8 unbelievable draw controls, making it undeniable that the young player has great things coming her way as she continues to take on the Metro League.

Seattle Prep’s star player Monday night was #27, who didn’t miss a single shot she took. Five of Prep’s seven goals were thanks to her incredible shot accuracy and determination.

Next up for Eastside Catholic is a game against Bellevue later this week, which will be an incredibly important game. Eastside has won all their games besides one, and beating Bellevue would be essential for the Crusaders to make it to playoffs. Seattle Prep is also in the running for playoffs and looks to make a comeback in their next game.

Will these two teams meet again in the playoffs? Will it be another close game? Only time will tell.
